Paula Zambrano · Data Scientist
I run a premium golf operation in Los Cabos and I'm completing a B.Eng. in Data Science at UVM — applying analytical rigor to the environments I already work in: teams, revenue, inventory, and high-net-worth guests.

Before I model a business, I learn how it runs. At Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club — one of Mexico's premier luxury golf destinations — I oversee daily operations across a 27-hole course: a team of 16 caddies, pro-shop inventory and purchasing, tournament logistics, and the member experience for 150+ guests who expect a standard most businesses never reach.
That operational context is what makes my analytics different. I understand P&L pressure, service levels, and the customer on the other side of the data — because I serve them every day. A +1 handicap isn't a flex; it's why I understand what luxury clients actually expect.
I learn the operation before I model it.
Every analysis ends in a decision, not a dashboard.
Open to data and analytics roles in luxury, retail, and hospitality — where domain knowledge and quantitative rigor both matter.
